Health Practitioner Fees
Under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act we pay health practitioners for health care and any related service covered under the Act provided to a worker.
The WSIB has completed a review of the fees paid to 12 health professions. The professions included in the review were: audiology, chiropody, chiropractic, massage therapy, occupational therapy, optometry, physiotherapy, podiatry, psychology, registered nurse (extended class), social work and speech language pathology. New ordering & invoicing procedures
Effective March 1, 2005, there are new ordering and invoicing procedures for hearing health care practitioners due to a WSIB/Canadian Auditory Equipment Association (CAEA) Memorandum of Understanding.
