    Musculoskeletal Injuries Prevention Program (MIPP)

    Program Overview
    In this 6-hour training program you’ll learn about the causes and prevention of common musculoskeletal injuries, including repetitive strain injuries.

    Program Details
    Materials specific to different sectors of industry are available to meet the needs of the entire workforce.
    • Training material is available through the Workers Health and Safety Centre.
    • The program is divided into two parts: Problems and Solutions.

      Part 1– Problems: In this section you’ll learn about:
        - common musculoskeletal injuries and their causes, and
        - symptoms and treatment
      Part 2 – Solutions: In this section you’ll learn about:
        - the role of workplace design and redesign in prevention and control
        - applying ergonomic design principles, and
        - strategies for change
