Sector Interagency Group The Manufacturing sector, together with the Automotive; Chemical/Plastics, Process; Food & Beverage; Primary Metals; and Schedule 2 sectors have set up an advisory group to strengthen prevention initiatives. The group’s focus is currently on falls, since these are a major cause of injuries within these sectors. The SIG includes staff representatives from these sectors, the IAPA, the Ministry of Labour, and Human Resources Development Canada.
