So who’s Michael Rosso? He’s a dad, a production manager, and a relentless safety advocate. Michael has never witnessed a tragedy of a workplace injury. And he wants to keep it that way. That’s why he’s not willing to put his co-workers’ lives at risk.

“It’s all about creating safer ways of getting the job done and practising them – day in, day out.” It’s about following every step to reduce the chances of getting hurt. There should be no shortcuts. Michael’s company has an exemplary safety program. “We involve the whole company, even our contract partners. Everyone contributes. That’s why we’ve been successful.”

His unwavering commitment has expanded to include an active role in the Safe Communities program that provides employers with a wealth of general and industry-specific information on the most effective ways to ensure safety.

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board is proud to be a Safe Communities program partner and proud to work with people like Michael Rosso in making every Ontario workplace safer. Call us and we’ll tell you how you can make a difference.
