2007 premium rates The WSIB has introduced a number of measures to improve its financial situation. By helping to alleviate some financial pressures on the system, these measures have allowed our Board of Directors to keep the average premium rate at $2.26 per $100 of insurable earnings. This is unchanged from the 2006 average premium rate. The Board's decision is explained in a News Release (49k, pdf), and two letters to employer stakeholders on July 31, 2006 (106k, pdf) and October 16, 2006 (99k, pdf) from the WSIB Chair. He or she would be happy to discuss and/or address any questions you may have. Annual Maximum Earnings Ceiling The annual maximum earnings ceiling for 2007 is $71,800.
