    Fair Practices Commission

    The Fair Practices Commission is the organizational ombudsman for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. The Commission provides an independent, neutral and confidential service for injured workers, employers and service providers with complaints about the service they receive at the WSIB. The Commission also tracks complaint trends, identifies systemic issues and recommends improvements to the WSIB.

    Final report on the investigation into occupational disease process issues
    The Fair Practices Commission released its Final Report on the Investigation into Occupational Disease Process Issues today in their 2006-2007 Annual Report. The WSIB is supportive of the findings of the report and has taken immediate action (77k, pdf) to address the recommendations.
