Program of Care for Occupational Contact Dermatitis
The Occupational Contact Dermatitis Program of Care is intended to facilitate the early identification and appropriate care of workers with Occupational Contact Dermatitis based on the latest scientific evidence and current clinical practice.
The Program of Care was developed in collaboration with physician representatives of the Ontario Medical Association, other health professional associations, and workplace representatives.
Suspect Occupational Contact Dermatitis:
- if the dermatitis began after the worker started the job or new job duties
AND
- symptoms are better during times away from work (e.g. weekends, vacation)
