New and Revised Confidentiality Policies The WSIB has approved new and revised Confidentiality Policies that will update and clarify the way the WSIB handles claim file information. The new and revised policies become effective January 3, 2006. The changes come as a result of a comprehensive policy review. The WSIB also has existing policies for protecting confidential employer information. Protecting privacy is part of our everyday business processes.
